We woke to a cold but very sunny morning. After walking down to the river to take some photographs we went back to the van for mushroom omelettes for breakfast. After breakfast, we went for another walk, this time with the kids (they played in the park for a while), before packing up and leaving.

On the way to our final campsite in Belgium, we parked in an interesting town in Luxembourg and walked around for about an hour or so, taking photographs. James bought a guitar keyring from one of the shops.

We stopped again for lunch in a layby after crossing the border into Belgium. Camembert and tomato baguettes.

We arrived at the Belgian campsite around 14:30. It was quite a nice site by a river in the grounds of an attractive old building. The receptionist spoke excellent English and allocated us our pitch. We set up camp and had a cup of tea in lovely sunny warm weather. It sounds like we were lucky, we were told the weather had not been very good until today. We walked into the village, which wasn't particularly pretty or clean and bought some ice creams from the supermarket. The kids bought some Belgium chocolate. On the way back, the kids played on a zip wire in the park.

We had Quorn escalopes, pesto pasta and vegetables for tea. The kids finished up with some hot chocolate and then we had an early night.
